I'm quite torn on this.

 

I would be amused initially but I'm sure there'd be a weekend where we play someone like Hull where I'd be thinking how much more pumped up I'd be for the derby.

 

And then I think back to that City game last season and think of the uneven playing field their lack of effort that day gave us over the season and just want to see them suffer.

It would be the funniest thing ever for a while, but I think they would find it difficult to get back, and to have them farting about one or two divisions below for any length of time wouldn't do football in the city any good.

I think it would be good for the city, and would allow Liverpool to maximise it's potential as the city's main football club. We'd no longer have them latching on to us, leeching off us, existing via assosiation, constantly begging for a shared stadium etc etc
