Much as you may hate them they aint going down. No way are QPR and Burnley turning around a 6 point deficit and a shite GD with 10 games left.

Christ we go on about how small time their fans are . People talking seriously about them going down this season as though its going to happen is just plain deluded ,

Not really. But I would be happy if they made it to the EL final and lost on an extremely dodgy penalty given in the last seconds of extra time by some Lithuanian referee whose wife turned out to be a direct descendant of Billy Liddell and whose family are all diehard reds.

The resulting bitter rage would fuel them well on into the next century.

But but they would be a massive club if it wasn't for us and therefore undoubtedly winning the league right now. So it's all our fault, again.

I'm quite torn on this.

I would be amused initially but I'm sure there'd be a weekend where we play someone like Hull where I'd be thinking how much more pumped up I'd be for the derby.

And then I think back to that City game last season and think of the uneven playing field their lack of effort that day gave us over the season and just want to see them suffer.

I think it would be good for the city, and would allow Liverpool to maximise it's potential as the city's main football club. We'd no longer have them latching on to us, leeching off us, existing via assosiation, constantly begging for a shared stadium etc etc
