I was happy once I heard we were signing him, thought he's the right kind of player and will do alright for us, but fucking hell I didn't expect this. He never seems to do anything massively breathtaking, just seems do be in the right place at the right time and makes the right decisions while he's there.

 

Since Luis Suarez left, no Liverpool player has scored more than 14 goals in a season. Mo Salah now has 14 and it's only November.

He’s doing very well. Exceeding expectations. You would have to think that the goal ratio will slow down at some point, but if it doesn’t he has a chance at top scorer in the league. If it does, we have other players who are ready to step up. Mane and Coutinho haven’t been bad so far this season, but there’s much more to come from them as they haven’t really got fully going yet. We fell apart after Christmas last year, whereas this season, while we have started slower, I can’t see us falling apart in Jan/Feb.
