He's fucking ace, is Arnold. I usually read his OLD autobiography once in a while just due to the motivation in my training... but he really was an impressive guy.

 

 

 

I started reading it and it was a great book no doubt I'll be back to finish it.

Tried watching that End of Days the other night. There's a scene where he's on some sort of wire hanging from a helicopter trying to catch some bloke who is running across s roof top. It looked like complete shit snd went on for what felt like minutes and they even threw in a shot from a different angle that succeeded in doing nothing but making it look more ridic. I didn't watch much more.

 

But I still love Arnie and always will. Mainly for Predator and Commando but also lots more.

I have a friend who is a bit obsessed with Arnie, actually believes him to be the greatest man alive and tries to base his life on him. He got really upset when I told him that Arnie asked to do the dubbing on the Terminator films for German audiences but his attempt was rejected. Apparently his accent is from a very rural Austrian village and the German film companies cracked up laughing when the robot from the future spoke in a voice equivalent to a guy from a small Black Country community

Like when David Prowse was gutted that his voice as Darth Vader was dubbed over with James Earl Jones.  Bill Bailey did a bit on it, but I couldn't find it on YouTube. His line was "Ho Ho, the force is strong with this'un". The reality is almost as amusing.
