Thats the wrong racket for corruption M B.

Public sector, council business and politics.

You're looked at as odd and untrustworthy if you DON'T take a slice off the top or ask for something to help "lubricate the wheels".

Thats not just in Italy, thats the world over.

Its definitely not that case here in Canada - tradesmen may or may not ask for payment off the books to avoid tax, but what you are talking about is not done here.

Are thinking of places like Egypt, India etc with baksheesh and maybe Chinese style corruption - I think that the argument could be made that in those countries the corruption is everywhere, whereas in the West its more at the institutional level. ie police coverups etc.

Maybe not so much in the West or Ontario, but the bribe culture supposedly thrives in Quebec.

could be, but that is not Canada :P and would be institutional there as well - the 1967 Olympics had empty cement trucks rotating through the big stadium under construction there allegedly. Corporate.

Latest speculation, Liverpool have identified Mahamadou Sahko as an alternative to Papadopolous who Liverpool deem to vastly overpriced at £20 million.

Kevin Graniero has sent a ''come and get me'' plea to Liverpool. He wants out of Paris St Germain.

Swansea want to sign Jonjo Shelvey and Liverpool won't sell for less than £5 million.

There is a number of clubs interested in Tom Ince, this interests Liverpool as Liverpool recieve 35% of any fee over £300,000. The price demanded is £8 million, which basically means Liverpool are entitled to £2,695,000.

Scored less than 10 league goals last season in the French league. No thanks. The Ilori transfer has hit the buffers, not with Sporting but with the player/agent and the deal looks dead for now.

Not in for Papa anymore due to their mad transfer fee.

Do you think that might be something to do with him only having started 7 times?
