If I wasn't so certain he's going to Madrid next year I'd agree. If this time next year he's turning down Madrid to stay at Leverkusen then yeah, good on him. He won't though. Hasn't got the balls to take the job now when we need him, he should never be offered the chance again.9 points

With no Alonso, definitely Eva Olid. The work she’s done as Hearts women’s manager makes her the standout candidate.8 points

My sister did my nephews easter egg presentation competition. He's 4 and at nursery. He won but only on the basis that all the others had clearly been done by parents but my nephews was clearly done by a young child. She spent 4 hours on it.5 points

I’ve mentioned a few times on here I live in Portugal and Sporting are my boys. I’d be totally underwhelmed if we went for Rúby. The season he won the league, both Benfica and Porto sold chunks of their squad and Sporting were heavily stacked in quality. Exact same thing has happened this season. Definitely not overachieving and it would be a massive disappointment if we don’t win the Primera this season. The League is probably the most mediocre I’ve ever seen it. The best player in the league is some Swedish bum we bought off Coventry. There’s not been much about Amorim going to LFC in the Portuguese press. So wont be sticking my 10 Escudos just yet..5 points

Little Leo's cafe, Hull after staying and deciding the Ibis's £12 breakfast looked like muck. I went for the full breakkie, my missus had the vegetarian. Was cracking. Menu stated "hash browns" - plural - so only getting one was disappointing, but... BUT... it was the best hash brown I've ever eaten by a mile. Sausage was very good. Could've been cooked more on the outside. Everything else was lovely. £8.50 for the breakfast, not sure how much extra for the coffee.5 points

All of the beat writers (Bascombe, Joyce, TIA, etc.) covering Liverpool went with it at the same time. That only means one thing: they’ve been briefed by the club he’s either unavailable this summer and they have to move on to other targets or he’s not interested in coming at the moment. Same thing happened with Bellingham. It has very little to do with what the Bayern fella has said.5 points

Not arsed now. The nerds have what they want: they can go purely on data. I’m very suspicious of Edwards here though. He wasn’t the SD when Klopp was appointed and so wasn’t the key voice. Now he is as the main football person for FSG. I suspect he’ll want to swerve big personalities who might develop a popular power base like Jurgen has, but if you don’t see the importance of a big character in the manager’s seat at a Liverpool (on top of coaching and leadership credentials) then you just don’t understand the club. Also, I don’t see anyone who plays high intensity attacking football and that’s just as important for me. If we’re going to take a punt, I’d be just as happy with Ljinders than one of these other sub-Xabi bums.4 points

Pretty sure Tommy Two-Names will be rallying his fat-necked knuckle-draggers to protest against the DUP, because he's all about protecting the little kiddies. Obviously.4 points

Definitely being overlooked by some of our fans who take his talent for granted despite him having a very good season. One of the best in his age group and definitely good enough to very often influence games at the top level for a big club like Liverpool. He is going to get even better too as he hasnt peaked yet. Think too many people's recent views on him are clouded with anger and hurt regarding his role in Utd's winner. Conveniently forgetting/ignoring that his goal did put us 3-2 up in extratime.3 points

Picking the right guy for Bournemouth or Brighton is a completely different job to that at Liverpool. It's like when Brendan Rodgers was buying bums he'd worked with before like borini and Joe Allen when he joined Liverpool. It doesn't exclude de zerbi from the job, but just because he was top of hughes' pile at Bournemouth shouldn't move him up or down the list here, the list should be completely different, because the criteria of success is different. If Hughes is so dumb to assume his previous research, in a previous job, from over 2 years ago, is enough for here, we'll be a midtable team in 2 years. Because he won't just be making those mistakes with the manager, he'll do it with everyone. I'm hoping Hughes brings absolutely no preconceived ideas with him.3 points

Feels like every single job I need to do something goes wrong, simple thing like they'll send a wrong part or something is missing or the previous person who fixed something cut corners creating issues now. The latest is windscreen wipers fuck you and fuck sites that say type in your reg and we will tell you what you need.3 points

After the shit they threw at Corbyn, one of my small pleasures is watching the amount of articles that I have read without giving them a penny totting up, and the growing annoyance in the tone of their exhortations for me to contribute.3 points

Why is it they are utterly incapable of ending a telephone conversation? Her Indoors was on the blower to her mate this morning and she had the speaker on so I could hear both sides. It must have been at least 20 times I heard OK, have a nice Easter or similar and then one of them sparks up and and starts off with some more meaningless drivel. A five minute conversation extended to about 40 minutes.2 points

True. But it may work in our favour. Say he goes Real Madrid and scratches that itch next summer - he'll have a year of CL managerial experience with Leverkusen behind him, then he lasts say 2 years at Real Madrid picking up loads of really big club and top level managerial experience - they bin bag him because he does not win the CL and we pick him up then - a more experienced manager and one who won't be itching to go and manage Real Madrid or have them sniffing all round him every 5 mins.... And if he turns out to be totally shite at Real Madrid we have possibly dodged a bullet.2 points

I don't understand this "give it to Lijnders for a year". How exactly would that work then? "Hey pep, we will give you the job but we have no idea if you are going to be good or shit so we will only give you for a year" ? And what if he proves to be successful? We still take him out of the job and go for Xabi? It just doesn't make sense. If Xabi is not available, go for the next available good gamble. Then hope it works. Anyone replacing Klopp will be a step down anyway.2 points
