I actually thought his pass for 1-0 was even better. Fantastic awareness to pick out Luis there when the 'obvious' thing to do would be to knock it in behind the Cardiff defenders.

 

His two assists aside, he had a hand in Sterlings goal as well, superb pass to set Suarez free from the half-way line.

 

Tremenderson has been outstanding so far today.

his back heel for the Suarez's second was just as good. anticipated the run on both occasions. playing very well. amazing that he's not rated as high as other English midfielders his age by "unbiased" commentators and journalists.

He's doing now what I've asked of him for two and half season: take control of games and make things happen on the pitch. He is now worth 16m. Whilst that means we well overpaid for him at the time, I think the work Rodgers has done with him is really paying off. Most of all, his own hard work is paying off. Can't say any fairer than that.

his passing in the 1st half particularly was just sublime, pure world class. The assist to Suarez' volley, through ball a la Cou for the 2nd goal and superb first contact backheel, fucking immense.
