Knew it was coming.

 

That could be the turning point in our season :(

 

Fuck I hate this feeling, and I'm getting it almost every week.

 

I hope that Rafa finally gets the message that YOU HAVE TO ATTACK WHEN YOU'RE AT 0-0 AND THEN START PLAYING KEEP BALL WHEN YOU'RE WINNING, NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND!!!!!!!!

Can't quite understand the over reaction over their win to be honest, as if anyone really expected anything different.

 

They are top, which we will get back on Monday and they still have to win their game in hand to get back above us.

 

And Villa can fuck off. They will struggle with Young now and will drop right off.

As for Chelsea... another Lampard deflected goal. How many has he scored this way in his career? 403?

 

I was at Anfield when they totally took it up the arse from us so we cannot expect Bolton to win or even draw these games. We have to worry about ourselves and that starts Monday.

Indeed. They win because they go at teams and are not frightened of losing. Someone in a previous thread called them 'flat track bullies' and that is essentially what they are. The majority of teams in the Premiership are there to be beaten, and the Mancs have made an art form of taking points off the dross. Even when they play badly they never give up; nine times out of ten they end up with the goods.

I'm definitely not a genius... But why can't Rafa figure it out for himself that it's no use playing keep ball until the 85th minute when you're 0-0?! That's what you get when you pour men forward against the shit teams. Notice how many players we have in the opposition's box every time we attack. Two at most!!! TWO!!!!!!

Nope. Settling for a draw against 10 man arsenal or worse, putting out that team at stoke will end up being far more devasting.

 

People can mention draws against whu, fulham and the like but we played and had a number of goal bound shots kicked off the line in those games.

 

The performance against 10 man arsenal was nothing short of a disgrace only marginally eclipsed by the pathetic team sent out at stoke.

 

I dont really have a problem if we try and dont get the result, but when you dont try, that's different.

 

It will be interesting to see how we react on Monday night now or whether benitez' games will affect us even more. Absolutely gutted atm.

No, fate isn't against us, we got out of jail plenty of times earlier in the season but when the time comes for us to let our class tell, we clam up. It's laughable that many on here were trying to explain away our draws as "we're still top, stop worrying", well now we're second and with Aston Villa a couple of points behind us.
