Aurellio is supposed to be ready for a recall tomorrow so i wonder if Rafa will play him in the position he had planned for Barry, would at least give us balance out there.

Is Aurelio fit? I'm not fully confident in Dossena or Agger at the moment. I think the former needs a bit of time to adapt and the latter still looks a bit rusty. I'd ease them both in this season - there is no need to take risks when we have other quality players who can step in. I'm also a bit unsure about Arbeloa as he hasn't looked at his best for quite a while. If Finnan wasn't such an outcast these days I'd like to see him start, but I don't think there's much chance of that, sadly. With that in mind I think Rafa would be best going with:

It won't happen but I'd like to see this. We have had some good results/performances playing a 3-4-3 under Rafa. For me it's a formation in which most players are playing in a comfortable position.

 

Hyypia must start in whatever formation we play, he is still our best defender and possibly his aerial presence is still sorely missed in his absence.
