He does didi's job as well as didi did but in a different way. Didi used to draw fouls to break up attacks. Masher just produces another amazing tackle and away we go again. Talking shit i know, but Masher is immence.

Masch, in the first half especially, was absolutely immense. One of the best 45minutes ive seen from him. He was awesome, NO ONE got through him. Lucas slotted in well too. Second half, when they totally lost all will to attack, he didnt have to do that much, but still was faultless in possesion. An absolute giant of a player. I would let him dry bum my bird.

I totally agree with these sentiments...I think our current captain could take a leaf out of Mascherano's book...less talking to the papers and writting crap autobiographies and do more of his talking on the pitch! Stop thinking he's the best midfielder in the world, and just BE the best midfielder in the world!

Mascherano was brilliant last night. He does so much running too. He pulled up with about 25 minutes to go and looked like he would have to come off but he played through the pain barrier and was man of the match by a huge distance. What a player.
