Romano saying Chelsea are in touch with Brighton and we are prepared to walk away.

Now why oh why would we do that and let them get the player for £20-odd million less? Even if he says no, you stay in. Fuck moving over for that American cunt.

If what Pearce says is true, it’s fucking good stuff from LFC this. Calling bluffs and refusing to be intimidated.

If we somehow ended up with Caicedo from this it would be impressive and hilarious at the same time.

Sounds like Chelsea have £100m and can’t go any higher.

I'll stop watching football the day we see Chelsea as intimidating.

Chelsea cant afford him. Yes they have loads of money but they are fucked with FFP and have to show a £250 million profit by June 2024

There is no way they can buy him and Lavia for £170 million, absolutely no chance. They are trying to bluff us out but, as Pearce has said, we aren't going away.

If this drags on we'll get him, we can turn his head again, once we are the only accepted bid on the table. I think this still happens or we would have pulled out ages ago in the afternoon.

You appear to be confusing me with Fabrizo Romano.

Agree there's more in it than meets the eye, if we had been 'rejected' we'd have backed out and pulled the trigger on Lavia, you'd assume.

This feels like FSG schooling Boehly, who lets not forget assumed Chelsea were perennial Champions League members until it was pointed out and is a complete fucking goon.

Either way Chelsea are being dragged to pay more than they want, or go for the plan B.

Let’s see who is right?

Hopefully in the not too distant future. Interesting Chelsea have got to this "preparing bids" shite for Lavia and caicedo tonight, yet no firm bids yet.

If they need to make 250m profit, why were they at the table at 100m? That doesn't make sense.
