In a similar vein @Captain Turdseyeis complaining that “imminent” is used too regularly in thread titles. It’s been used twice !

Meanwhile @YorkshireRed is using  the word “cress” with impunity.

This post is getting negged imminently.

Don’t bring me into these dinner discussions that have no chance of serious escalation.

I’ve moved around since leaving “home” at 18 and lived in 3 different counties since Merseyside (with a brief stint back there) and I struggle to remember who says what for what these days. I remember being late teens and early 20s and arguing what it “should be” based on what I said, but having lived in those various places and come across people from all over the place, I don’t know what comes from where anymore with quite a few terms and phrases. Like bap, barm or roll and all that shite

Not sure what the issue is with the word cress.

Dinner would generally mean something more of an occasion to me, usually evening, but a roast dinner isn't necessarily. Better at lunchtime tbh.

But overall it's breakfast, lunch and tea, for me.

Sounds as boring as it is but it’s nothing worth getting bent out of shape about.

I attempted to recreate one of the exceptional sandwiches from a local Italian deli. This is a toasted focaccia with mozzarella, mortadella, giardiniera, sun-dried tomato paste, tomatoes and lettuce and is nothing short of sensational.
