Klopp: It makes no sense to add more players to the squad

He accepts the reality of our situation and wants supporters to get behind the team in the stadium, which they will of course do. He’s also sick to death of these bullshit questions that don’t fully concern him, as he’s a man who focuses on what he can actually change.

What exactly do people want him to do? Lose focus by publicly calling out the owners over not spending? Resign his position in protest over our spend compared to our rivals? Play Adrian as a false nine to highlight that we don’t have two £60m options for each position?

I specifically mentioned the bold bit.

The bit where he says "that's the information I have".

What sort of cunt says that if he's not pissed off about something?

Alignment to the board would sound more like: "we don't need to spend money because we have what we need."

I listened to the press conference, there was no annoyance in general. In fact, he looks as energized as I've seen him.

You'd hope it's a dig at the toxic breed of support that manifests on twitter where everything is won or lost based on 'banter' and who you or your rivals sign.

The kind of pleb that will post under a journalists story about racism or some other serious matter 'Announce X'.

Twitter is not representative of anything. Its a cesspool. I wish people (not you) would stop investing so much into the importance of that platform, whether it be football, politics or whatever.

He got a bit serious on the last question from Pearce, I wouldn't say he was annoyed but there was definite tones of a teacher sick of being asked the same stupid question.

To be fair, Pearce asked some pretty shit questions there.

Agreed, but a whole industry has been born from it and youtube when it comes to football, the likes of 90min and AFTV have made it popular and relevant unfortunately and the main stream are trying to push out there own watered down versions to catch up.

Yeah, I mean he's always been sassy about answering certain kinds of questions, but I thought he sounded great. Motivated.

One of the most positive things behind us going into the season. He looked drained early on last season. His argument with the reporter at Brighton was the start & things, understandably from his professional & personal life, got worse. He’s only human, everybody would have been massively frustrated (ie fucked off) at all going off around him.

I saw an interview with Trent the other day where Klopp held a team meeting, I think before Trent’s late winner v Villa, and said we’re all going to focus on the best we can do & sort of galvanised everybody.

I don’t think enough credit was given to us at the end of last season. I know it wasn’t anybody’s expectations entering the New Year, but we looked dead and buried in the fight for CL multiple times, even during the 8/10 run. We still found a way. 3 injury time winners in 10 games. That never say die attitude is imperative to us and comes directly from Klopp.

I know to the FSG Out crowd everything Klopp says is him making the best of a terrible situation where he's not being backed but ... isn't there just the tiniest possibility that maybe he actually believes what he's saying? That he would rather tie down our best players (the ones who won us the league and CL) to long contracts than buy new players?
