Were not talking specifcally about World War 2 the discussion is about Nazis in general, and specifically modern day Nazi's. Mainly Ukraine but now Canada.

I don't see the point in this though. Ukraine haven't invaded Russia so its entirely speculative at best. We don't know if x or y would happen and never will.

I think you might find an awful lot of people from all political persuasions (bar maybe the king of Ukraine Boris Johnson) feel disguustrd at a Nazi being giving a standing ovation in a Western Parliament.

When Germany invaded Ukraine many of the locals saw them as an army of liberation to free them from Stalin. Unsurprisingly many will have wanted to join up and fight the Soviets. Also, unsurprisingly, some of them will have been ripe for the SS.
