Fuck me I've caught whatever she's had the last few days. Can't stop coughing and feel like absolute shit. Out of LF's, tried to get some from the pharmacy in west derby village last night because she'd ordered some and we had an email with a code to pick up, none available and they don't know when they will get any in. Absolute guarantee the government have wanted to stem the flow of testing so they can keep us from lockdown now they know this variant isn't as strong (or the vaccines are doing their job). I wasn't a fan at all of another lockdown but they definitely manipulate the figures to suit whatever they feel will win the publics trust rather than it's health. The scruffy drunk wallpapering twat is now a hero for stopping PCR's for travel. Party-gate and all that sleaze is last years news, the cunts got away with it and at what risk? 

 

I don't have the same symptoms as when I've had covid to be fair. so I reckon i'd still test negative anyway. Got our boosters booked in for Saturday morning but if I feel like this i'll move mine. At Melwood and all, dying to go in for a nose and see what they've done to the place. 

 

 

Our kid tested positive yesterday but other than a few aches he said he feels fine.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but indulge me with a brain fart here and let me know your thoughts. 

 

If Omicron was engineered deliberately to be less lethal but more contagious, released, and it spread through the population like wildfire, would it not equip said population with the antibodies/T-cells to repel more serious strains? Could it almost act like a vaccine for the unvaccinated? 

 

It seems like something we'd have the genetic tools to do, although I'm not saying it was.

I think you'd have to believe that different versions of the virus were being manufactured to consider this. I know some subscribe to the theory the original version was manufactured but most genetic engineers \ virologist suggest there is no trace of manipulation of that virus.

 

If Omicron has been manufactured, then whoever is doing the genetic engineering must be able to cover their tracks in the virus. Im far from convinced anyone could do this unnoticed in subsequent viruses and it not be detected.
