Going to buy Planet Zoo for my son, he's only 7 so I'll help him on sandbox mode.

 

Quite looking forward to doing the main game myself as well.

Got given one of these for Father’s Day (kids chipped in loads out of their wages/pocket money) and I’ve signed up to PS Plus. What should I be playing when Turdsette isn’t hogging it to play FIFA?

What type of games do you like?

 

Narrative driven single players, multi-player games, RPG's, JRPG's, racing games, beat 'em up's?

 

Can't really go wrong with Last of Us (part 1 and 2), Spiderman (1, 2 and Miles Morales), Baldur's Gate, Elden Ring, Horizon (and Horizon Forbidden West) or the God of War series for a start off depending on your tastes.

 

Not all will be on PS Plus so if you're restricting yourself to that the options will be more limited for some of the latest games).

My favourite games are all the Rockstar ones that I already have for the PS3/PS4. 
 

I’ve got The Last Of Us as well, enjoyed that. I’ll have a look at the second one. The Spider-Man one looks decent.

Demons souls is on ps plus if you fancy getting your arse kicked without paying for elden ring. Looks great, and it is great, but there's a learning curve.

 

Horizon well worth a go, or the later assassin's creed and far cry games are on the ps plus collection if you want a difficult sandbox/open world thing.

The Miles Morales game is great, bet you can pick that up cheap now.

Deaths stranding and days gone are two other AAA games on ps plus that I haven't personally played.

Get yourself PS Plus Extra. £90-something for the year but loads of games. Red Dead 2 for starters if you haven't played it yet.

I can hardly get a go of the fucking thing. Not only that, Turdette’s taken over the living room. Hammering the EAFC. I’ve basically lost my telly as well.

I’ve bought three months of that. A lot of the catalogue seems to be Premium which doesn’t cost too much more, but there’s plenty there for me to be getting on with at the minute.

Really fun swinging around town doing backflips and running up buildings.

I’m currently resigned to reading a book while she sits here shouting “I PRESSED SHOOT”, “I DIDN’T PRESS THAT”, “RUN, DARWIN” and more stuff like that. 
 

PLAY IT QUIETLY!

 

It’s my own fault really, I’m making her play on ‘Professional’ which is a challenge for her. She’s winning 9 or 10 nil on the difficulty below and I’ve told her I’m not sitting here watching/listening to that every time. There’s no point playing the game.

Dave The Diver is a really fun little game. Plenty of progression and it's a very relaxing.

Been playing Blasphemous via Plus Extra and it's pretty good metroidvania game. If you haven't got Extra, I'm sure it's about £4 to buy and there's loads of game for your buck.
