Nike deal

Macron seem to be filling the void that umbro left.

Then there’s that odd wing logo brand that the barcodes have.

Under Armour never really got out of the starting blocks.

I’d be fine with Adidas if they promised to not fuck around like Nike.

Honestly not opposed to Macron either. They seem to make decent stuff.

Castore. Owned by two brothers from the Wirral but based in Manchester.

They've picked up a lot of contracts the last few years, but there are questions about the quality of their products already. They're about to announce they've got the Republic of Ireland kit contract too!

They're hoovering up contracts like there's no tomorrow. The Republic are their first national side, but they've got teams all over Europe, some bigguns too (i.e. Feyenoord from next season).

As I said the problem is the quality. You see a lot of teams having problems on the players kits with shirts ripping, missed team badges, numbers falling off etc. Wolves, Newcastle, Villa, and the dirty Gers have all had problems over the last year or two.

Could cost them big if it carries on.

On a positive note, I bet we shifted a bazillion kits after the weekend to those grinning twits all over the world who 'support' whomever they last saw win well on TV. The fact that they'll be spending their money on such shit designs makes it all the more apt.

Only 1 more league game where we are likely to wear that kit, and that's West Ham away. Southampton's home kit will obviously clash with both red and white so the green will be used. IF we make CL progress, then of the remaining teams, we might need the white if we have to travel to Benfica, Bayern or Milan but, given that the green is the first choice change kit for the CL, we could opt for the green in any potential away leg.

Remember that bright orange away kit? We had a great record in that from memory.

The campaign to bring back an orange away strip starts here.

Even Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum looked shit in that orange monstrosity. We need a proper Liverpool away/third kit.
