I’m most annoyed about losing our clean sheet record. Would’ve been nice to take that into the international break

Yep - gotta be pleased with 12 points though!

Poor performance bar the excellent Gomez. But three points in two games we'd have drawn or lost last year. Love it.

That'll do, Weeble. That'll do.

Great signs on the past few years. Reckon we'd have crumbled other years.

Going to Palace and Leicester tricky away games if you dont play well.

Gomez definitely MoM for me. Robbo also good.

Didn’t play well for the last hour, but we probably would have won 2-0 without that cock up.

Good result considering.

Really pleasing thing is we never really looked like letting another one in after the gift - and that is something that 1. We need to have in us if we are gonna challenge and 2. something we are often short of.

Good to see.

Great stuff reds. Good win at a tough place

Yeah, great result. First time since 1990. Points in the bag. Title winning sides pick up points. Good sides win together, lose together, fight together and make mistakes together. Alisson’s Error today was more than just one person making an error. We own it, learn from it, win because of it.

Next.

We defended very well after they scored, but and it's a big fucking BUT, we were a proper shambles today. Intensity levels, skill, movement all lacking. I know we won and it's brilliant but when are we going to start playing well? It's now 3 and half games where we've not been on it.

Hate being negative so I'll end on up the not playing well but top of the league reds!

Hopefully we might start to see Fabinho post the break.

Plenty to work on snd some players suffering from world cup.

Much more to come from Bobby and Salah

Gomez must have cemented his place alonside big Virg. Looking a great partnership. Robbo excellent,Trent looks a little tired but thats to be expected.

Phew, massive three points considering the performance due to the woeful team selection and then compounding that by waiting 70 minutes to change it.   By that stage we were bedded into playing it long time and time again and Leicester were the only team trying to play football, fucking Leicester.  They've a signing from the championship that's a more accomplished footballer than the three we started in the middle.

Shaqiri did well when coming on.   At least the stocky wee fucker was able to make the ball stick but it really would be best if we weren't hoofing it upto the front three who've fuck all support anyway.

God bless Harry Magurie, can't remember a game against Leicester where he didn't gift us a goal.

That'll do.

12 out of 12 is a great start to the season. The concern is that we need to pick up performance levels as we won't always get away with playing at this level. Saying that, I have no reason to believe that the performances won't pick up.

I'm relieved for Alisson that his mistake didn't cost points. It'll still be analysed and ripped to bits. But, it's done. Hopefully he'll learn from it. It's something that can be trained out of him. Unlike Mignolet and Karius who were just never going to be good enough.

It would've been a bit unfair if he'd have been in a position where he could be blamed for costing us points. Particularly when you could've easily have pointed to Henderson, van Dijk or Salah for making poor decisions too.

Joe Gomez probably MotM for me.

3 points. Playing averagely. Something to build on. We'll get better.
