Lovren should have beenb the first casualty of the Serbo-Croat war. The man is a cunt. As for a midfield of Milner, Henderson and Chamberlain; there is more brain power in a dog's turd.

A real cuntish thing to say about a footballer that, let alone our own.

The fury directed at Klopp for rotating doesn't reflect well on LFC supporters at all. It's almost like we haven't been in the elite European competition for years and people haven't yet caught on that it's a difficult thing to play 3 games a week and still perform at a high level if you don't make constant changes.

If people want to see the same eleven every week, they should go support a small club that always play in a single competition and can afford to do it.

Inevitable the questions around Klopp, but if you look at it pragmatically, our 'second string - depleted' team - wrong choice', team, still played that pile of footballing shite off the park. The problem today was not taking our chances, we had more than enough chances to win this game, but we didn't take them. Nothing to do with team selections and more to do with team errors.

The Kop pisses me off with this self ingratiating hark back to another derby, when there is one happening right in front of us. Perhaps more time spent singing about Liverpool Football club and less time spent singing about the opposition, may, just may, have built the atmosphere up to a level that would of drove the team on a bit more, A poorly selected team of course...

Arguably our best manager of the last 20 years Rafa Benítez used to rotate every game too.

The title is not happening so rotating to get top 3 whilst having a proper go at the cl is the priority. I am not convinced he will take the fa cup seriously as the domestic cups killed him last year.

If he buys a spine we're laughing

However , not sure need to rotate that much when it's West Brom next. Kill the game early and then make subs.n

The problem for both managers has been the lack of a decent squad in all honesty.   Ngog for Torres, Lucas for Xabi oxocube for Coutinho, Solanke for Firmino.   The drop off in quality is so huge that you're simply nowhere near giving yourself the best chance of three points.

At one point Rafa had Hamann, Gerrard, Xabi as his CM options. Hyypia, Agger and Carra as his CB options. Pretty fucking good squad.

My main problem with the current lot is the a lot of the starters aren’t good enough; Mignolet, Matip, Lovren, Moreno, Hendo, Milner, Gini, Firmino (as a striker).

Very frustrating but not the end of the world with the other results this weekend.

Gomez's best game for us ?

Solanke not quite ready for Premier League , maybe a poor decision on Origi's loan.

Never a penalty in a million years

Mane should be horsewhipped.

Not sure if Hendo is carrying an injury , but he shouldn't be picked before Can or Wijnaldum & having him and Milner as the middle 2 is a recipe for boredom.

And when Jurgen does that people complain he takes the wrong players off and that does not take into account subbing an injured player. What if he had not subbed Salah and Salah pulled a muscle later in the game people would say why did he not sub him earlier. Personally I think some people are being overcritical.

Just finished watching a recording of the match. I’m fuming like a blue nose here. Initial observations:

1. Can’t help but feel that’s on Klopp that one. At least he’s a key contributor with the selection. Five changes from Wednesday and both Coutinho and Firmino on the bench? OK rotate against Brighton and win 5-1 and you’re a hero. But it felt to me like we were in a great moment, and I wanted to absolutely thrash Everton, but watching the match unfold it just seems so lacking. We played in straight lines, generally in front of two banks of Everton players. It all looked so uninspired and easy to defend against. The intricate movement, with the fast short passing and interplay in the final third, wasn’t really on display. So frustrating.

2. Sadio Mane. Great player but so frustrating that he didn’t square it just before half time, for what would have been an easy 2-0. Go in two up at the break and it’s a different game.

3. Refereee. Awful decision for that penalty. There would be ten penalties a game, or more, if that’s what counts for a penalty. Lovren slightly at fault for touching the player when he was going nowhere, but that one was on the refereee.

I’m frustrated right now but at the moment I can’t see past the manager, Mane and the ref for a dodgy result.

We are so much better than Everton. Play our best side and do our thing and I’m confident we would beat them handsomely. But with all those changes we just lack the squad depth to beat a half decent team. Fine against Brighton, but an Everton side, with a new manager, who were well up for it? No, no, no, and no again.

Bad day at the office. Oh, and Milner wasn’t very good, and neither was Henderson. Neither was AOC for that matter. The list could probably go on but I’ll stop.

Missed opportunity, and so unnecessary.

Sky didn’t show this angle, which makes it look even softer.

it's like being overcharged at the supermarket and that the discrepancy you repeatedly spot is never in your favour, in that the centre half doesn't seem to ever go down in the box on the first impact v the striker

funny that. innit

Nothing wrong with Klopp's selection, we played them off the park. Nobody can say what would have happened if Coutino and Firminio had started, Coutinho was obviously carrying a knock from midweek and Bobby has played nearly every game this season. We just missed a great chance to go 2-0 up due to mane trying to get hero status rather than laying on a tap in for one of three team mates. They got extremely lucky with the gift of a penalty.

Taking Salah off was a bit strange, but he had put in a heavy shift up to that point and we were in control of the game. The rotation is necessary though as we approach the busy period of the season. We are in a good position, especially when you look at the state of our squad depth wise and a few of the starting 11.

Bit of credit is due when you think about it. If we had spent heavy like other teams then you could point the finger, as it is we are better off at this stage of the season than many thought we'd be. The rotation will stand us in good stead over the coming month. We'll have players with fresher legs than most of our opponents, plus we have a fair few players to return. Some are remarking on things as if we are a nailed on title challenger or top 4 team, we ain't. Not far away from that if we spend well in the next two windows and use the Coutinho money wisely. (if it is all ploughed back into the squad like)

Still fuming about the penalty like. Bitter fans were probably getting ready to rip Fat Sam and their ale house team a new one. Now the fuckers are acting like they have turned another corner. They'll soon be brought back down to Earth, and hopefully we fucking hammer the odious cunts in January.

TBF we did play a 35 mil$ right midfielder in only his 3rd game of the year - he and the flying Henderson seemed to get in each others way. Also his delivery from the wing bar maybe once was brutal. I dont really expect my future CB spelling time at right back to provide better service than an England International who has played on the wing his whole life.
