Foreign aid is bribery. Simple as.

Those countries have massive stockpiles of weapons. If they needed the money so badly why spend on weapons?

 

Best solution for this planet is if all the oil and gas run out and food becomes scarce, so that the population can shrink down to a more sustainable level. The bigger picture overall, is that the planet is more important than humans. Foreign aid should be stopped and spent on cleaning up the planet.

I'm pretty sure that population projections increase over the short term then drop off dramatically as women become educated and birth control becomes widely available. We'd be better off spending the aid on allowing women control over their own bodies.

It was it all party manifesto's in 2010.

A liberal democrat MP introduced a private bill in 2014 to get it moving.

The bill was passed by the coalition government.

0.7% was defined in 1970 by the UN that all countries should strive for.
