We were absolute toss in the first half, played a bit better in the second half but spunked whatever chances came our way. Some players gave it their all but too many are either drained or just not arsed in putting in 100%. Fair play to Southampton, stuck to their game plan and made it hard for us, they were also depleted at the back. Not good enough from us, we just look shit scared to shoot at times, players just playing the easiest ball rather than taking a chance. We are the gift that keeps on giving at the moment.

haha - fuck off tinkerbell.  He set up most of the few chances we had, always showing for the ball all over the pitch, while Henderson played sideways and backwards within 20 square yards all game.  Lallana's not afraid to get stuck in and win the ball either.  Henderson shit out of a 50-50 early on, and that set the tone for the rest of his game.  

 

Lallana, like all of the front players, was poor, but at least anyone with eyes could see the effort he put in tonight.  Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge, not so much. Sturridge could probably get disability allowance from ATOS, he's lost that much mobility.  Coutinho appears to have been found out, and Firmino was ineffective. 

 

We need a plan B for when the front players aren't firing.  Where's Balotelli?

Didn't deserve it over 2 legs. All the confidence has gone. I'm angry with the players and even Klopp but our owners can fuck right off.

 

Absolute joke that a club with hopes of the title/top 4 has a bench as weak as ours. Soon as a player has an inevitable bad spell there's absolutely no one to come in for them and take the pressure off. There's not another club in the league that can't at least bring in an experienced player or two if someone's form dips. We have about 10 players who have played over 100pl games and two of them are fucked.
