Sounds like we're fucked to be fair, I thought we looked it after about 30 minutes against City so was not expecting much today. It's all well and good saying we have no european fixtures so only need a small squad but that doesn't apply when in the majority of matches we play at 100mph and run more than any other team. Reinforcements are desperately needed, firstly to finish in the top four and if we get lucky Klopp will pull a rabbit out of the hat and find a player who can make significant contribution to a title challenge.

That today folks is classic us and exactly why we just don't win things.....the top 6 have been beating the shite week in week out all season and someone had to blink first in this run of top v bottom games....surprise surfuckingprise it was us.

Seriously, that was brutal from Can, Wijnaldum and Firmino and another killer cameo from Lucas put the tin hat on it.  Lallana was the only player who could keep hold of the ball and even he gave it away a couple of times.  He did do more than anyone else to keep things moving and set up chances as well, but not one of his better games.  Sturridge just doesn't do defending from the front, so their back line had an easier time of it than they might have expected.  Mane was wasteful on occasion and peripheral overall.  Our defence was exposed due to Can's fucking brain deadness and Wijnaldum's poor decision making.  

 

Origi came on too late, and Lucas came on too soon.  And what the fuck was Moreno doing taking free kicks?
