I just can't get over the defending, you either have well drilled defenders or intelligent ones, we've got neither and a fucking 'seat of the pants' attitude toward it. The only way you do well like that is with an outstanding attack, which we also don't have. He has spent a fucking fortune and we are fucking terrible, on the eye and statistically. And before anyone mentions last seasons run as proof of greatness we finished the season conceding a massive amount, similar to the year before infact but we had two great strikers bang in form that year, that doesn't happen every year unfortunately

There was a time when Lovren ran across their winger. No need for your centre back to do that really. Especially since it was the opposite side winger!!!

The only hope he's got of keeping his job is Sturridge staying fit and banging in the goals again. I reckon he'll be gone by the end of October.

Also, what's Firmino meant to be good at? He's offered nothing so far. Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's new to the league, but for 30 million I thought we would have seen something of worth. Looks like a South American Lallana with less running around at the minute.

We do look clueless and we have a squad of very average players but what really bugs me is the fact we spent so much fucking money on them

they would be a hell of lot better with a manager that knew how to set them up

Rodgers has got worse the more players he has accumulated. It cant be coincidence Give him a basic squad with few permutations and he can do ok . Somewhere like Swansea for example

Torres and Suarez just shaking hands at the start of the Barca Athletico game, How did we get from having some of the best players in the world to the shite that we send out in the shirt these days, Its heartbreaking to see what we've become in such a short space of time

I kind of understood in 2010 because of the ownership situation, but now it's just pathetic.

Rodgers thought Steven Gerrard wasn't good enough to start every game for this rabble.

Just think about that for a second...

There was a constant clamour on here this time last year for Gerrard to be jettisoned.

My fear is that if a 6-1 defeat to Stoke didn't cost Rodgers his job, what can?

Maybe a few thousand empty seats at home games might focus minds. I remember the home derby at the end of Hodgson's time not selling out until he got the sack. We're probably approaching similar territory now.

gerrard and carragher would improve this shower of shite

spineless, gutless, shitbags.  No fight whatsoever.

I'd play souness as well before these fucking frauds

never seen such a shithouse performance

there's more fight and passion from souness and carra in the studio than these fucking twats masquerading as footballers

Absolutely dreadful today. Our game plan - and this is with a defence who shift goals for fun - is to play defensive against as shit a United team as there's been. We're playing Benteke as a lone striker and completely isolating him. Where's the width, the pace, the flooding the box with midfielders? It's criminal it truly is. I want the manager gone tomorrow. We're simply delaying the inevitable by keeping him any longer and nobody will convince me otherwise that the longer he stays the more points we simply give up. He's fucking awful, truly fucking awful.
