Powerful Danish drama about a terrorist attack.

The scenes of the attack itself are beyond harrowing but it finishes on the positive note,that if we stop being cunts to each other,things may get better.

I decided to surf the Zeitgeist and watch one of the hot new shows everyone's talking about.

 

Squid Game- 6/10. Pretty disappointing, the game ideas were a bit dull and the premise behind it was incomprehensible. There was one outstanding episode ('marbles'), but it was cheapened by the final episode which was pure shite. Hopefully, Alice in  Wonderland will be better,

 

Fisk- 8/10. Very funny Aussie comedy about a misanthropic lawyer. First series is on Netflix, second on ITVX. Some absolutely brilliant characters in this. It's smart, witty and just exceptionally well done in a low key way. Loved it.

 

Upper Middle Bogan- (IKTVX) 8/ 10. Another Aussie comedy. Bit lost in translation- the adoptive family don't seem that bad, although they're horrifying to the adoptee. Verry funny again though. Get on it.

Never really took to her when she was younger but she was a bit of a pioneer.

Finally got around to investing a bit of time into series 2 of The Bear. Purely so I could see what all the fuss around episode 6 is about. It hasn’t held my attention as much as the first series but this episode was a corker. Bob Odenkirk and John Berntal are fucking great actors. Jamie Lee Curtis on top form here as well.

The woman in the wall, based around the victim of one of the churches Magdelane Laundries, the shit the Church got away with and what all those young women and children went through. It's grim. Ruth Wilson is magnificent as usual, she's a brilliant actress.

If you've never watched 'Kingdom' the MMA show (Not to be confused with another show called Kingdom which is a kung-fu type Jackie Scran affair), watch it. He's brilliant in that as well. Plus the show itself is excellent.

Massively disappointed by this. Patchy as fuck, plenty of dubious acting, a good story ruined by some poor writing.

 

Considine is very good but it takes more to save this misjudged middle of the road attrition.

the Mexican dealers are getting the American buyers to test all the gear now at pos to prove it’s not them spiking the fentanyl in.
