Just get a Norway style deal. Should be easy because we have skilled negotiators and the EU needs us as much as we need them!

May's redlines means we want out of both the Customs Union and single market. That means the Norway deal isn't even on the table. Which then means a hard border or essentially giving Ireland independence. Which would massively piss off the DUP.

Our skilled negotiators will find an amicable solution palatable to all parties.

Here’s a good thread that explains the complexity we are facing.

Obviously Gnasher and Anny have a simple answer

As has been commented about the Brexiteer's in the cabinet in that it's very noticeable they don't do 'detail', such as the numerous agencies we'll need to have in place before March 2019 if we go for a 'no deal'.

Brexiteer's increasingly seem to be a heady mixture of jingoism, nostalgia, blind assumption and conspiracy theorist all rolled into one.

I'm reliably informed that leaving the EU will result in the sick being healed.

To be fair some of the detail has been shown to be wrong so I’ve deleted it.

I totally understand the points made in that tweet and in many respects a no deal exit will be a fucking nightmare. The blame for this should be placed at the door of the present administration.

If you give the public the opportunity to take part in a referendum don’t blame them for voting the way they did.

You cannot reverse the result of a democratic vote because you suddenly realise. Shit. How do we actually do it?

Mate. Define ‘democratic vote’

Because that’s not what this was.

In some respects I agree with you. The campaigns were a mixture of scaremongering and outright lies.

Could the same not be said for every election since the birth of campaigning?

However that said if there are enough stupid people to see the vote over the line that is the world we live in. Democracy.

I have always been scared shitless of being summoned for jury duty as I imagine the idiots you will be arguing with. A mate of mine did it and a couple of women said in one case ‘I think he did it he just looks guilty’

That is the public we are up against but it is not anyone’s place to suggest you have more right to an opinion than them just because they are stupid or appear so.

Now the votes have been cast it is up to the sensible majority to do the right thing and get the best deal possible for us and the EU.

Sadly with this lot in power my hopes are not high.
