In fact, most fans of other clubs thinks we get more VAR decisions than everyone else, and that half the team are divers. Well, we should actually be cheating more. We should be diving more. Feigning injury. Doing the Kane back in foul. We should be doing absolutely everything to fuck over our opponents, because you're not rewarded for not doing so. If you don't hit the deck in the penalty area you don't get a penalty. It's that simple. Colwill signing a new six year contract at Chelsea is good in that respect, as it's very clear that we need to completely forget about him now and move on. Monday Jul 24: Lot to catch up on after a week off but I’ll leave most of it out because who cares really? Few things I’ve made a note of though. Zinchenko continues to talk like he’s some kind of war hero. “I want to be able to look my daughter in the eye and say I did everything I could to help Ukraine”. And what exactly is that then? I’ve seen him crying a fair bit, and errr… yeah that’s it. Speaking of pre-season games, we had an eventful 4-4 draw today with some German nobodies. My boy Darwin scored a couple and also created the equaliser for Mo late on. I’ve only seen the goals so can’t comment on performances, but it’s encouraging seeing the forwards looking sharp. I’m not reading anything into the defensive problems as the personnel changes so much in these games so you’ve got various kids in defence and midfield and today we had Adrian in goal doing Adrian things. So looking at the fact we conceded four and coming to the conclusion that “the defence needs work” isn’t really relevant. If we’re conceding loads when we have Alisson in goal and the first choice back four playing, then yeah, that’s going to be a worry. When we’re making this many changes I don’t really care if we concede 10 as it has no relevance to the coming season.2 points -
