6 midfielders is a reasonable number in a regular squad where you have first team backups you trust at both full back positions and 4 centre backs. The 3 starters and 3 backups. But since we use Milner as depth in both full back spots and Fabinho at centre back, 8 midfielders makes numerical sense.

I think you simply need to accept this may have been a tactical error by the club because your argument makes no sense. There's no lack of depth now, just potentially a miscalculation of how the squad has been built, and that's a Klopp problem, not an owners problem. If you want Milner and Ox sold, again, that's a Klopp problem. Your anger is misplaced, my friend.

Yes it's a Klopp problem.  He should have funded the signings needed himself.

No, he and his staff built the squad the way it's been built, with the depth being in midfield. And you're clearly not happy with that, so that's a problem you should have with him. There you go, now you can have clear eyes knowing who to blame for the problems you're mad at. You're welcome.

With the money available to him so he's wheeled and sealed this shake deck of cards.

The end.

That's irrelevant and you're wrong. He had enough money to have more than what is normally required in midfield in terms of numbers so that he could shuffle them around, just like I explained. That was his choice.

How come @No2 seems to have super natural negging powers?

No more than anyone else, I rarely throw the negs about but those 2 deserved it. I see @3 Stacks has been busy unloading all his neg power in petty vengeance. I can do that too, not today though used them all up last night.
