Apparently, I'm a Bernie man (89%) and would pick Jeb Bush among the Republicans (46%) and Trump 41%) over Ted Cruz (36%). Fiorina and Carson I have the least in common with.

Miy ideology is apparently left-wing in the US, and I am leaning towards socialism.

There is no mystery to it, these quizzes tend to miss nuance.

 

For instance, you could say that you want to subsidise renewable energy, as I did, and another person could say they want to expand surveillance. To the quiz, they are both examples of government intervention, so either response would move you leftwards on the scale, even though they are clearly very different in form and intent.

 

That said, you don't have to be very left-wing to disagree with the majority of the Republican platform, do you.
