I know we've got to play these set of no marks in the NoHopers League tomorrow but looking forward to a proper match on Monday.

Not bothered either way about Young, as I think he absolutely shit.

 

Got a feeling Roy will pretend its an away match. With the pace of Agbonlahor I expect our defenders to be standing next to Pepe.

 

Meireles has to play central midfield. Villa still have fuckloads of injuries and appear to play a small group of children in midfield every game. Chance for Meireles to really dominate a match.

These look appalling this season. Dunne and Collins are giving some of the worst displays ive ever seen from two centre backs, their midfield is loaded with kids, Young now out, theres no excuses here. Though im sure any defeat will be met with "we lost against them at home last season so this is fine" by cuntpost and Hodgson.

Bit of a side issue here, but Villa's ticket allocation is now open to anyone with an 'AVFC booking history' which presumably means any Villa fan who has ever been to an away match. Our initial allocation for the Blackpool game, with a very similar number of tickets available, is to ST holders with EIGHTEEN away games from last season. Big club? 2nd city? Don't make me laugh. (Sorry, folks, just one of my hobby horses).

I think Meireles will own this game. He and Lucas should completely dominate Villa's midfield. My only concern is that, like already mentioned, Roy will have our defenders eating scones in Reina's six yard box. Otherwise we should win this, quite comfortably too. I'll go for a 3-0 scoreline. I want us to be bold and attack straight from the off.
