Nice thought, but how is he going to perform lovely spanish type flowing football with the shower playing for us ?

 

Who do we have who can pass a ball , agger, gerrard, cole ?

Play with a higher line?

 

Press from the front?

 

Push Gerrard further forward alongside Cole and Kuyt/Maxi and closer to Torres?

He didn't have household names playing at Villareal though and he managed to play some real good football..

Agreed , playing with a higher line is desperately needed, but if players cant pass the ball , how can we maintain posession ?

 

And as for Maxi, how the hell he gets a game, I just do not know.
