i have no problem with that article. What i have a problem with is the shite he constantly spewed all season talking down to us more or less tellin us we knew fuck all about footballs secret inner workings and how amazing Rafa was over and over again.

 

When it was clear things were going wrong he was trying to pretend it was all ok and Rafa had some masterplan.

 

I'm sad about Rafa going, i was very much undecided about whether he should stay or go leaning towards another season for him. But Tomkins has written some silly shit.

Like a lot of fans, his justified hatred of the Yanks seems to have a rather unfounded link with some weird semi-god worship of Rafa.

 

It's like he's some sort of Messiah holding back the tide, and now he's gone we're apparently fucked.
