I would sacrifice Mascherano or Alonso (can't believe i'm saying that) for the chance to fund a Villa deal. Who cares if we have only 1 defensive minded midfielder in the side. With Torres, Villa and Gerrard i reckon we could score as a team, 85-95 league goals.

I was thinking Barca should get him imstead of Real. He'd do great there. He's a better striker than Eto'o who looks as if he's going to leave Barca. Villa would be a great replacement.

Pity he's leaving though. He's been very loyal to a club that's been mediocre in recent years, and would no doubt stay there if they weren't so eager to sell him.

Hasn't Albiol been playing at RB as well. When we were linked with him they made it sound as though he could be first choice at FB and CH.

 

He has played full back for Spain in emergency but never for Valencia as far as i can recall.Also he has played defensive midfield to good effect for his club.

Apparently gone to Barca for 40 mill euro. Bojan and Hleb the other way. A bit surprised that they are getting rid of Bojan though, I thought he was some kind of fan-pet not up for sale. I wonder where the bottler Zlatan is on his way to then. City?

It is a bizarre record. Helped of course by being in Holland, then Calciopoli etc

 

Ibrahimovic is absolutely world class for about five games every season. He looks like a disinterested Bendtner the rest of the time.

He would struggle to make the top 10 list in my opinion. He's not even top 3 in Barca. He is still a good player, but he always struggle against good teams and he is mad as a herring. Did you see the game against Inter. Worst performance of a "star" player I've seen in years. He was in the way of his team mates, simple as.
