I can't get this story straight. He came in and kicked off, they didn't report it to the police. He came back and did it again and then they called the police. When the police got there he was calm and no-one made a complaint.

a couple of months back a mate of mine got knocked over by a car on the way home from work. the girl got out the car and said sorry i never saw you because you were in black clothes. behinde this car was an unmarked plod car. he got out phoned ambulance ect ect. she goes hosp gets discharged with fractured ankle bone

 

shes a hairdresser and missed 3 weeks of work so she decided to claim for loss of earnings. 3 days later she gets a call from police "can you come down police station we need to talk bout the acccedent". she got arrested for perverting the course of justice. banged up in a cell etc etc....

 

next thing shes in court this lady changed her story says she never hit her as she would of seen her as she was in a white coat and also that her car was that dirty if she had hit her then the car would have a mark on it

 

also beleive it or not the police officer changed his story n stated he didnt see a thing...

 

my mates barraster found out that the bizzie and the driver were having a relationship. but the judge said that this had no impact on the case nd dissmissed this from court

 

now i have no problem with police. in fact thats what id like to do in future but i think that this officer is scum and the girl who changed her story has ruined my mates life. she gets sentenced in januarey and caould lose her job all because she made a claim for Loss of earnings

Erm... I agree that the judicial system needs serious review, Mick, but they told you why they could not.

 

No witnesses present, no official complaint against him, and he's showing no sign of hostility whilst they are there... what can they do?

Only just read the first two posts, but this is wrong. If the victims were lying unconscious on the floor there would still be noone making a complaint because they wouldn't be able to make one at the time.

 

The same applies with these assault victims because they've legged it and understandably so. The old bill should have arrested him on suspicion of assault and made subsequent enquiries to trace the victims. SOMEONE would have known who at least one of them was.

 

What if one of those victims turned up dead in a gutter somewhere, having died of head injuries this twat inflicted upon him/her? The old bill would look pretty bloody stupid then.

 

He could also have been arrested for breach of the peace and kept in until the next morning. In that time victim's of the assault could have been traced and he could then have been further arrested for the assaults.

 

The old bill here have fucked up and should be bollocked for failing in their duty.

I have genuine respect for some Police officers who do their job but I don't have an ounce of respect for shitbags like these two last night who need a shotgun to the forehead. Also, this happened last night. Protect and serve my fucking arse. They did neither.

 

 

The cops pulled my ma over last night too while she was giving me and my girl a lift back home. Only took a few minutes before they let us on our way, they just did a vehicle check and random breathalyser, no need for my da to get his police authority badge out or anything, but I can't help feeling that there would be better uses of their time than randomly stopping middle-aged women in family estate cars.

A lad comes into a pub, walks straight up to the bar and starts launching glasses at the displays. Ruining them, smashing everything up, threatening bar staff and customers. Generally being violent, and he tried to get behind the bar.

 

He leaves.

 

He then comes back later on and smashes the bar up once again, leaves but sneaks back into the toilet and beats one of the customers to a pulp. Hits a girl and has to be restrained. The panic buttons are pressed and then the police arrive, the lad shits himself and calms down.

 

Everything is told to the police what he has done throughout the night. With witnesses not being present, but witnesses were there at the time. The people who he done over have got off because to be honest, they won't want to stick around after than loon did that.

 

And here's the punchline, the Police say to the manager "We can't take him because he's calm and we haven't received a complaint." "Plus, our custody sargeant would question our decision because we haven't received a complaint, plus, he looks calm now."

As you can see in this thread there are many stories being told about encounters with either unreasonable, lazy or just downright twattish policemen. I'm sure if you did a vox pop on the street the numbers of complaints would only rise.
