The discussion was re: the "price" and it's worth.

Directly, those are two stand alone statements.

Iran was involved in an unprecedented, highly coordinated attack with Hamas.

And.

Hamas leaders are always getting assassinated.

I don't believe they are getting offed at a markedly higher rate than they have been so there is no difference to those leaders in terms of a "price."

Gazans on the other hand....

Wasn't that guy killed 3 days ago in Beirut pretty high up? Also, some had previously been killed in Gaza too. I would expect they are all being hunted with much more determination and urgency now than before.

Israel has been saying this for years though, and been killing them the whole time.

I do not see any reports that would make it seem there has been a marked uptick in those. Each has certainly gained a much higher awareness over the last few months due to media interest but it is not hundreds, or even dozens being reported.

OK, to sum this up, we both agree that Iran's role in recent events in and around Gaza is much bigger than some would say, you take it for granted whilst I infer it based on perceived (to me) lack of any benefit for the Palestinians in the aftermath of the October 7th attack. Additionally, you believe Hamas doesn't care about short to midterm consequences for their people, because it is all already factored in for the longterm plan?

Looks like that bombing has quietened things down over there. They'll be cowering after that.

That's one hell of a crowd.

I hope they all survive the bombs.

Has Trump claimed it’s a picture of his inauguration crowd yet?

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on Monday launched ballistic missiles at what it said was a spy base for Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad in northern Iraq, and at “anti-Iran terror groups” in Syria, in the latest escalation of hostilities that further risks spiraling into a wider regional conflict.

Iranian forces said the midnight missile strike in Iraq destroyed “one of the main espionage headquarters” of Israel in Erbil, capital of the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, in response to what they said were Israeli attacks that killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard commanders and members of the Iranian resistance front.

“This headquarters has been the center for developing espionage operations and planning terrorist acts” in the region and Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement Monday.

The IRGC also said it struck several locations in Erbil and claimed to target “sites of Iranian opposition groups.”

At least four civilians were killed and six others injured in the attack, according to a statement early Tuesday by the Security Council of the Kurdistan region.

“This blatant violation undermines the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq,” the Security Council said

Also on Monday, the IRGC said it fired ballistic missiles at bases of “anti-Iran terror groups in occupied territories of Syria.”

Iran seems to be protesting against Pakistan now.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-67999465

Pakistan says two children were killed and three others injured in strikes by neighbouring Iran on Tuesday.

Iran said it targeted two bases linked to the militant group Jaish al-Adl, according to a news agency affiliated with the country's military.

But Pakistan rejected this, calling it an "illegal act" that could lead to "serious consequences".

Pakistan is the third country, after Iraq and Syria, to be hit by an Iranian attack within the last few days.
