Fuck it, let English football get what it deserves. How we laughed when the scousers were pipped to the post, little did we realise they were the only club preventing the premiership turning into a North Korean version of The Masters.

If you want to know what the future of English football looks like, picture a Manchester City football boot stamping on a human face, forever.

It’s actually worse than that, because City’s main competition in the coming years will be an even bigger set of oil cheats whose resources massively exceed those of Abu Dhabi, as do their human rights abuses.

When it comes to money grubbing the English really are a special kind of scum. Even the Yanks have had the good sense to protect the competitive integrity of the NFL.

No danger of that here though. You see all the spotty cretins in the stand at city and Newcastle's grounds while the respective owners feign interest in the actual action on the pitch, but they're basically dreaming about going home and having a wash.

A "working class" game too. A game that essentially became popular as the only bright spot in a week of endless industrial toil down the factory or the docks, has now become a marketing operation for the kind of people who bankrolled Bin Laden and have people hacked to death in embassies, and helped breed a new brand of 'fan" that ruins minutes' silences for other working class people who died in football tragedies.

What else would you expect of a country that sold Rolls Royce engines to the luftwaffe knowing full well what they'd be used for. Money now, fuck tomorrow.

Let it fucking burn I say.

I hope city get Bellingham now because it'll just reinforce what a fucking joke it all is.

What arsenal are finding out and what we already understood, is it's basically like trying to fight a war against someone with an unlimited number of troops. You have your victories here and there and they have their defeats, but over the longer term they can wait you out and there's only going to be one winner in the end.

I'd genuinely love to know what viewing figures is for footy at the moment, The way punditry has turned into WWF and the way everything is overhyped makes me think they're trying to devise more and more ways to keep people interested because they know that ultimately - what's happening on the pitch - is no longer a big enough draw, which says it all really.

It's why non league has become more popular too.

Didn’t he go from 6th to 6th despite having numerous loaner’s from Premiership sides?

Mason Mount and Tomori from Chelsea and Harry Wilson from us. The season prior to his appointment, they were 6th with 75 points. In Lampard's season, they finished 6th with 74 points.

Agreed, one of my mates, ex-season ticket on the Kop now goes to Prescot Cables games.

My brother has started going Runcorn games home and away, mind you he's a blue so for the first time in his life he's getting some enjoyment from the team he's watching instead of just revelling in Liverpool not winning.

Part of me wants Newcastle to blow them the fuck out of the water over the next few years just to watch the Moss Side lottery winning empty ground twats heads fall off.

League of Ireland attendances have jumped up by about 25% this season and would have been even higher if certain stadiums could accommodate larger crowds.

More and more people I talk to are sick of top level modern football. The excitement of the European Cup over the last few seasons papered over the cracks imo but with Abu Dhabi FC smacking around the likes of Bayern, it's becoming plain to see just how distorted it's all become.

State of this from Daniel Taylor, the horrible Manc loving Forest fan. Was he hibernating the last few years?

The only two things that stop man citys dominance are either the Premier league grow some balls and punish the cheats, or Newcastle.

They'll wait for newcastle. No way are they going to cast a shadow on their product better another state that sanctions outright murder on people for having opinions! football club gives the illusion this is still a sport in the premier league.
