Seinfeld had fantastic secondary character-

Mr Peterman (No Elaine it's gibberish)

Newman (When you control the mail, you control information)

Frank Costanza (Serenity now!)

The Face Painter (Puddy)

Man Hands

Soup Nazi

Low Talker

Ooh, not sure here - guess it depends on who you consider main characters.

Frasier was a secondary character.

Woody Harrelson was also good.

Coach, good.

Never watched Seinfeld (even though I love curb your enthusiasm)

Cheers was a Friday night classic. My dad's favourite joke was from that

"I have something old something new something borrowed, just need something blue"

Norm: " take my liver"

For fucks sake, Seinfeld is the much, much better of the 2. Which character in Cheers is fit to lace George or Kramer's boot?

Norm,Woody,Cliff,Sam,Lilith,Frasier. Never seen the other show but you'd have to go a hell of a long way to get many better characters than Cheers.

Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm both knocked out in the quarters? What forum is this again? The National Socialist Way?

You clearly haven't seen Seinfeld.

Cheers isn't terrible or anything, quite good and all but several leagues below Seinfeld. I'd be interested to hear what Americans rate as their best ever sitcom
