The fucks going on?

I find myself constantly looking for a simple explanation for this club which is becoming increasingly confusing as time passes.

I wish it could just be summed up in one sentence, something like "FSG are shit" or "Klopp is losing his mind" but I don't think it's possible.

We ended last season a cunt hair away from finishing outside the top 4, and it was pretty evident back then that we are actually a half decent side when we're going forward and things are going our way, but the defence is a mess and needs vast improvement if we have any hope of winning anything or finishing top 4 again.

Yet here we are 3 months later starting with a weaker defence than last year.

Somebody needs to give Brian Cox or Stephen Hawking a bell, see if they can come up with some explanation for this chaos, failing that stick Ste in goal.

Only (stupidly) feasible reason for dropping Mignolet is if he's been utter shit in training (doubt it), or if Karius has told the club he's leaving if he's not given more game time. Doesnt really make sense either way though; Mignolet has been good and stable the last months, and that should be it really: an angry Karius shouldnt force Mignolet out of the team. If so soft by Klopp.

I think the Gomez call could be a sensible one too.

TAA is better going forward. But Gomez offers a bit more solidity up against either Ozil or Sanchez.

There's literally been two changes to the team and people are losing their heads. But, little is being said about Welbeck starting over Giroud or Lacazette.

Relax. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Ozil will get gegenpressed off the pitch and Xhaka won't last the first half without seeing red.

Gomez isn't better defensively than TAA.
