With Spurs limping out of the Champions League I think they will put in a performance against Chelsea. Chelsea are doing very well with six wins and six clean sheets on the bounce, but Spurs have a good defence themselves. I can see a draw in that one. 

 

I expect us to beat Sunderland at home, and hopefully we will get back to the level we were showing before the international break. If we do that we will win well, but obviously we have to go out there and do it, as you can't take anything for granted.

Think this will be a harder match than some thing.  Moyesy seems to be hauling them out of their nose dive.  A nice early goal should make the flood gates open but you can be assured that Purple Victor will be getting a goal.

They're not the best ball playing side, so I reckon we would really benefit from the qualities of Sturridge, as opposed to Firmino's industry in front of goal. We can't afford to drop any points here.

Excellent point on Can and would prefer to see Wijnaldum start this weekend. Other than that I would be going with our 'usual' 11. If things are not working I would like to see us ring the changes a little earlier, but that seems to be Jurgen's style. His instilling believe in his existing players doesn't just end at the transfer window.

In 13 previous visits as a manager to Anfield, he has drawn seven, lost six and won precisely zero.

 

All bar one of those games was while in charge at Everton and, along with the Blues' equally poor form under his tenure at Old Trafford, the Emirates and Stamford Bridge, was used as a sizeable stick with which to beat him.

 

Moyes might have hoped that trend would change after his glamour move as successor to Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United in the summer of 2013.
