Not wishing to be snarky, but I don't see how that will improve attendances.I think the issue is high ticket prices in what is essentially a poor country.Anyway, the sevens is about to start...

Because the host country won't be looking to recover all the costs so ticket prices will be lower.

You reckon?

OK then.

Back to the sevens, Fiji are absolutely brutal in the table.

Am I missing something? Each continent would have about 20 years between games (and wouldn't have to spend money on bids until it's continent's turn) so the winner would have a pool of money to draw on to cover costs.

Fucking big blokes.

The Fijians played like Fijians in that game whereas GB played like a pub side that had turned up pissed, seeing double and thinking they had a 15 out there.

First ever Olympic medal for the Pacific island nation, and it's a gold. I've got family on my mum's side out there and they'll be chuffed. My uncle in particular is a big 7s fan.

Not sure how you beat that Fiji side? They are just so big and strong it takes 2 men to tackle them all the time. In 7's if you do that you create space and then you can run tries in. They are also so physical at the breakdown that they turn the ball over for fun.

That twit Skelton ruining the swimming coverage for me

I think she's awful....you can tell she hasn't got a clue what she's going on about .

And what's happened to Ian Thorpe I thought he was really good at the last Olympics and he actually talked sense, the Beeb really have dumbed down with their sporting coverage.
