Honestly no idea what Rodgers is going to do on saturday having rested or dropped most of last weeks team.

 

do we stick with toure even though the memory of his Laurel and Hardy defending from last season still lingers?

 

do we try lucas and gerrard in midfield again when it has looked so awful so many times before?

 

do we persist with lovren and balotelli even though they've been rubbish all season?

 

(adopts geordie accent) who starts, you decide.

Yeah, shock horror of playing with someone able to shield the defence against the best team in the league...

 

The more pertinent question is; Who voted for Johnson?

I'll add that this might not be the best time to go back to the Diamond, for the same season as above.

Yup, would go with that.

Would be concerned with Coutinho out wide and would maybe swap him with Sterling. But player wise, that's the 11 to go with.

 

Or maybe take out Sterling and Coutinho, bring in Lucas/Allen and Borini, and go 4-3-1-2. Have Coutinho, Sterling and Gerrard as impact subs.
