I moved from Deadwood to Peaky Blinders which I've never seen before and I am really struggling with it, why is this so highly rated? I'm only on Ep5 of S1 and it is already getting completely ridiculous with some frankly bizarre narrative turns. The worst thing is, it's making me hate Nick Cave and Tom Waits. I think I'll bin it after S1.

Also, this really looks full of historical inaccuracies, was its baffling (to me) popularity that contributed to the current anything goes attitude in period productions?

It gets even more ridiculous.

Think it's popularity is based on its hipster appeal.

Its average at best. Plenty of better things to watch

Black Snow

Really enjoying this 6 part murder mystery set in small town Australia.

Our girl Brooke Satchwell is in it too.

3 episodes in and yeh, really enjoying it so far, a very easy watch.

I forget which one of you guys gave us the heads up about this but thanks, all the same.

The terminal list 5/10.

As with most things these days, I have it on the background whilst working or doing other bits. Before I know it a few episodes have gone by and I've no idea why he is blowing his boss up.

I quite enjoyed that.

My wife loved it herself and recommended it to me. Ever since streaming I hardly concentrate on anything. I do various bits whilst I have a couple of episodes on in background, so any nuance is Lost on me.

A 30 min episode is about my limits.
