I would banish the TV show 'Room 101' with its distilled sycophancy towards B list celebrities.

I kind of like the premise but the format is all wrong. Soulless

It pisses me off every week with the wildcard round. Every week you get to the third round and he goes, 'what's next?' And we all fucking know its the wild card so just fucking introduce it as that you bellwhiff!

Eastenders.

Anyone ever remotely involved with Eastenders (apart from that ginger cunt's wife).

London (for having an East End on which to base this bilge to begin with).

Top quality abuse there: Short, damningly derisive and massively disproportionate. We can all learn from CT here.

    • Xherdan Shaqiri could have played his last game for the Reds with Sevilla keen on the services of the Swiss star.

The Mirror reports the team who are currently placed third in La Liga, are reportedly ready to test Liverpool's resolve this summer with a £28million offer.

The proposed fee documented in the report would see Liverpool more than double their money on the original fee that  they paid for the attacking midfielder from Stoke City in the summer of 2018.

The much travelled 28 year-old has struggled for game time this season due to increased competition for places as well as a ongoing battle with muscle injuries.

When Shaqiri does get onto the playing arena, it is clear that he makes a difference to the team with his vibrancy and his creative mindset.

He also plays with a joyful demeanour which the supporters in particular feed off.

But the truth is that we have not seen it often enough with his last start coming in the World Club Cup in the middle of December.

Jürgen Klopp has displayed sympathy for the predicament of his player saying in January:

"It’s not cool, absolutely not cool.”

“But maybe there are different reasons, for sure. Shaq is a very special player in different departments.

“His physique is different to all others I ever saw, his muscles are unbelievable."

For his part, Shaqiri has been understandably frustrated that his lack of playing time but understands he is part of a big squad.

"We have a big, talented squad, and many have to wait for their chance.

"I have never had a problem with the coach."

    • Whilst I've always been deeply proud of the socialist leanings that are prevalent amongst reds, I don't think it should be considered an absolute either/or scenario.   The main issue for me though, is where to draw the line. Carra writing for the Mail? Ex-players buying up streets of houses? Kenny accepting his knighthood? Our Brazilians who may have voted for Bolsonaro?   The list of things you can't be is a can of worms, and if you open it you have to accept others may think you don't qualify either. Do right by people, pull together (fnarr), Shankly's socialism, is the right view in my opinion.
    • Maybe you should read it a bit closer, especially the first line.
    • For me this is the greatest quote I’ve read from anyone. From a man of simple means, a complete legend who made our club what it is and inspires us to this day.
    • What if you voted for Blair?  That must be grounds for Liver-expulsion, no?
