Mine's just gone up to £112 a month, ridiculous for standard broadband, HD and the sports channels only. 

 

Think i'll go down the Vincent vega route, ideally i would like to sack Sky off and get a blade box but is that not dependent on having a boss internet speed? 

 

I'm in a quandary here, either way £112 per month is shocking

How exactly is that £112 broken down?

 

The full price for BB and line rental is about £25 a month.

All the channels + HD/boxsets (can't remember what they call it) is about £40 a month.

 

Is the sports channels in HD almost £50 a month?!

Yes.  I went through with cancelling and within days they are crawling up your arse with offers.  If you've been with them 20+ years, I find they do actually reward shit like that.

These are really easy to find on fb, google or ebay. If youve got a sky dish, you need nothing other than that.

Looks like Sky is losing all the Discovery channels from Wednesday unless they can sort out a deal before then.  That included the Eurosport channels, which is bad news if you like snooker and cycling, among other things
