Easy to do.

 

First, find the tweet you want to embed, and click the 'more' button in the top right corner of the tweet, then select embed tweet/embed video. You'll get a pop up with the required HTML, copy this and head on over to your thread on here for embedding.

 

You'll need to use the 'More Reply Options' to reply with your embedded tweet or video, so go ahead and choose that option. You'll then see an unchecked 'Enable HTML' option to the right of the reply dialogue box, check that and then paste the HTML from your clipboard into the reply dialogue box. 

 

Your reply will look odd in the reply area, but not to worry, you've just switched the reply area to an HTML editing/input area. Once you've done all you want to do, just hit add reply, and hey presto! You're done! (The preview post option has thrown up some funnies when I've tried it recently, but that may be my web security software, but just add reply and then edit as needed, if needed).
