I'd take any of the Sporting youth team based on that one game I watched them in against us in the Next Gen series. Sporting have a great record of bringing through players, people like Ronaldo, Moutinho, Nani, Miguel Veloso, so it makes you wonder why they would let a 19 year old go if they thought he was any good unless their was a contract issue

All Scott is famous for, is having the hardest paper round on this island.

Ronaldo was playing for their first team at 17 and the Mancs paid £10m or so.

 

Nani was 21, playing for their first team and cost £20m.

 

If this lad was close to the first team then they wouldn't be selling him cheap as they usually make silly money when they sell young players, they'd play him in the first team and wait a year.

 

If they're skint like Coop says and we get a bargain then that's brilliant but most players who go on to be brilliant have already played first team footy by now regularly.
