How can you not think that "the way rafa wanted to use bellamy" being a defensive wide player as not the reason he wasnt happy with what he was hearing? If you go back and read what i wrote i was responding to a person that said WE MUST BUY now and get back into the CL NOW I dont think this is true and i said if we play good football we will be able to attract some good players in the summer even without CL football. My main point in this thread over the last few pages is that we have signed some utter shit over the years, and i dont want us to go out and panic buy again. We need 3-4 quality signings, and we should take our time in finding them. Players also come because of the type of football a team is playing. Arsenal arent as big a club as liverpool but players love their style and want to play for them, in recent years anyway. We have played shit defensive football for years, and players know this. Kenny is starting to turn it around and players will notice that we are beating top teams and out playing them at times. We could sign players now, and we "might" get into the CL its not a given, if we dont and these players arent that good....where does it leave us?
