Both are quite spurious in relation to actual people, these stats are only a pragmatic way to assess the demographics of the population, they aren't reflective of actual identities. They are exploratory more than definitive.

That's why I'm quite relaxed about someone defining their own ethnicity as they see fit (e.g. "I'm ethnically Jewish, even though I'm an atheist").

Some Jews are racist, I think it’s the second time I’ve said that in 2 days.  Imagine Israel, with those people in video, being the LEAST racist part of the entire area.  Fucked up.

More Arabs live in Israel than Jews live in the entire Muslim world.

Used to be the other way around of course, but most of the Jews were expelled. Fortunately it's Jews so it doesn't count.

Which is quite handy for when Israel fancy a game of house skittles with their bulldozers.

No idea why this quoted but is there any truth to the story about the Rabbinate in Israel now using 23 and Me to prove Ashkenazi Jewishness before marriage certificates can be issued?

Probably, they're Orthodox, they're pretty strict. Loads of people just hop over to Cyprus to get married instead.

That allegation in Jenin is shocking. Sadly, it’s the very nature of conflict for innocents to die or be killed. That sadly includes youths and children. Sometimes 51 in a single year…

Which doesn’t provoke posts from certain users on here. Or widespread media attention.

But, remember, it’s the Jewish people who don’t count, or something…
