I honestly don't see why he's not playing for Charlton tonight.

He wasn't getting games recently for Charlton anyway. And as previously stated, he officially signed for Liverpool as of 10th May.

Obviously, it might be worrisome that he couldn't get into their team recently, and the manager didn't think they'd miss him for the playoffs, but the Charlton fans seemed pretty keen on the lad. Maybe the manager didn't get on with him or something.

By all accounts he sounds like a bargain.

I thought so Rob, I was just wondering why there was little fan fare about it.

We probobly cant unvail him till the 1st of July or something. You know like holding the scarf outside Melwood. Either that or we are waiting for a new manager to come in....

Lacks pace and concentration according to two Charlton regulars I was talking to yesterday. They think he has potential but not in the way that you could tell Scott Parker was going to make it at the same age. Jury out then.

Scott Parker has bugger all pace. Judging by the video posted by milankakabaros pace certainly doesn't seem to be an issue.

I wouldn't mind betting they had a higher opinion of him a few months ago before it was announced that he was leaving.
