    Yeah, probably Wilshere. How many 19 year olds have you seen play such a great defence splitting pass as Jonjo played to Suarez last night? There is both alot of talent and alot of nurturing required to bring that talent to its peak. Could become a deep lying playmaker somewhat in the Xabi mode.

    I live in Belgium and there was a recent story in the newspaper (can't remember which one) about Bosman claiming that he now receives CPAS, Belgian unemployment benefit. Seems as if he squandered all his money on drink.

    More like his settlement with the club has a clause which prevents him from making comments about his time at the club, and more specifically his sacking by the club.

    If we could get 45 million plus Anelka then in my opinion we can take a gamble on either Hazard or Lukaku. Anelka still has a couple of years left in him.

    Rory Smith is a very pro LFC journalist. I get the distinct impression he is a fan. He is also one of the most anti-G&H journalists around!

    Everyone on this forum wears Chinese made clothes and uses Chinese made products. By doing this we support the Chinese Government. I'm really not sure why people have a problem with a Chinese Investment Consortium investing in Liverpool FC. Afterall RBS borrow money from Eastern money markets. And by the way the UK is high on Amnesty Internationals list of Human Rights abusers.

    Rory Smith is a good journalist and normally I enjoy his articles. However his latest one with the mild implication that Roy doesn't understand anything other than 4-4-2 is just bullshit.

    Bit of a silly assumption seeing as the person that would have scouted Martinez is still at the club (whether he should still be there of course is another question).

    Great post. Similarly to Rafa, Roy has to see which of his star players want to stay and which players would like to leave, for Gerrard and Owen all those years ago read Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano.

    2 very good players. It could be argued that Masch has played at a higher level with us in that he has played in CL semi finals and finals with us and therefore has come up against better opposition. I would go for Masch in terms of DM capabilities and for Didi as an overall CM.

    Gerrard deserves our respect no matter what he does. I'd be gutted to see him go though. What a great player!
