Summer Signings/Clearout

Wish list - defender (Finnan.Carr,Bridge or even better Gallas),midfielder(not too fussed but someone with real pace which is what we lack rather than width) and a goalscorer(Cisse?).

Clearout - Heggem.Berger.Xavier,Babbel.

Sell if we get reasonable offer - Biscan.Heskey,Smicer,Cheyrou.Vignal.

I reckon Traore is a far better prospect, plus we have some fantastic defenders coming through the youth. All we need at the back is one, or even two specialist fullbacks, then we can start to add a more attacking impetus to our game.... hopefully.

I have always rated him very highly and he is still very young .I think the only way we have a chance (and then its only a chance ) of getting him is they get relagated (big smile on m y face if they do ) . I have a mate who is a leeds supporter and just the thought of Kewell going to another prem team makes him want to kill his sheep !

simply for the summer signings, i would like to see any of the following wearing red, tonge, defoe, joe cole, kewell,milner, finnan or bridge, but what about our own young players, warnock, otsemobor, welsh, partridge and mellor, why not promote them instead of smicer, diomede, cheyrou etal who are just plain shite.

las: we said the same about smicer, and were still waiting four years on, baros has been excellent at international level as well as the rare occasions ged has played him!
