Like I always say about Balague, he knows less than he lets on.

The evidence over a period of time would certainly suggest that

There may be an element of him announcing things as signed, sealed and delivered while they are still in the formative stages, and to be honest I dont think he does it for personal kudos, but he has got plenty of things wrong recently.

Doesn't sound like "top signings" to me. None of them would make us a better team.

On the contrary, all 3 of Malouda, Simao and Tevez would significantly improve on what we have now.

Yep, sets up loads, scores loads, take brilliant free kicks.

Just what we dont need.

He can play right side, left side, in the hole or as a 2nd striker. He creates, he scores and hes good at set-pieces, Id say he's exactly what we need. Plus, he looked good against us and the Mancs in CL games and for Portugal in the World Cup. At one time I thought he would be too lightweight for 'English' style defences, but Ive reveiwed my opinion to the extent that I think he would be a cracking signing....I think he's slightly overpriced at 13m, but we will now be paying a premium for higher profile players now the world knows we have dough and the owners have publicly stated that they will back Rafa with whatever money it takes. I'd rather pay 13m and get him than play silly buggers and miss out for the want of 3m.
